Tourism Page

Of all the cool new things that come with having my own domain and a proper version of WordPress, one of the best is that the Tourism Page is up and works accepting comments. When my friend came to visit me this summer one of the frustrations we had was that once we’d done Bayterek and Duman, we weren’t sure what else was out there. And even when we heard about beautiful places like the reservoir or Kurgalzhino Nature Reserve, we didn’t know how to get there, what kind of facilities there were, what kind of permissions we need. So I would love to see people contribute with information about places that are off the beaten path, and with specific information about how to get to these places, what you can do there, and anything else. I’m open to anything you want to contribute. And as I wrote on the page, if there’s a big response, I might think about doing a wiki or something a little more elaborate than just a page with comments.
