One year a few residents of our apartment complex decided to organize a sort of stone soup Christmas. They put up notices asking people to decorate one of the fir trees in our yard. The response was pretty good. This was my favorite ornament, but it appears to have been banged up pretty good. I wonder if that’s why it was donated to the communal Christmas tree.
This is also probably one of my most technically strong photos. The Kodak digital camera I have doesn’t give you a lot of control over the aperture so doing these sorts of shots with a sharp subject and blurry background isn’t always easy. I thought this one turned out well.
